The Slide Nut works hard to keep the system tight. It allows the A-Frame to move into the proper position as it adjusts to the tension of the tarp system. It is recommended that both the A-Frame slide nuts and threaded rods should be replaced at the same time.
Working with the threaded Rod to allow the A-frame to tighten and loosen as needed to form the A-Frame assembly.
