Used as the 'connector' point to form the A-Frame assembly for the threaded rod assembly to slide through. A part of the A-frame that helps it move and flex the way it needs to. It is mounted on the base weldment and holds the vertical post and threaded rod in place.
One of the first parts of the A-Frame Assembly this piece is located at the front and acts as the connector to the base weldment.
