  1. Brake Safety Week 2019

The Brake Safety Week is scheduled for the upcoming September 15th through the 21st. Roadside safety inspections will be conducted on commercial vehicles throughout North America. Any Vehicles that have critical brake violations or inspection violations will be restricted from traveling until they are corrected. It is important to make sure to have all inspections done before traveling so it will be easier to travel during these times. All commercial vehicles that pass without any critical vehicle inspection item violations will receive a CVSA decal indicating that they passed inspection.

During this year’s Brake Safety Week, inspectors will be paying special attention to brake hoses/tubing. While checking these brake system components is always part of the North American Standard Inspection Program, CVSA is highlighting brake hoses/tubing as a reminder of their importance to vehicle mechanical fitness and safety.

In addition to inspections and enforcement, outreach and awareness efforts by law enforcement agencies to educate drivers, motor carriers, mechanics, owner-operators and others on the importance of proper brake maintenance, operation and performance are integral to the success of this safety initiative.

Brake Safety Week is part of the Operation Airbrake Program, sponsored by CVSA in partnership with the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

  2. Farm Science Review 2019

This September the 17th through the 19th we will be taking ourselves back to London, Ohio for the annual Farm Science Review.  You can find us at our normal spot near entrance C at booth #937. We'll be taking our Fastrak Direct so we can educate many of the attendees about the benefits of tarping. We'll also bring our mini Side-Lok system so they can learn about the various systems that we have.

It’s always tough to say which is the bigger draw — the main exhibit area or the more than 600 acres of land that hold field demonstrations such as corn and soybean harvesting, tillage, nutrient applications, cornstalk shredding and baling, and drainage installations. However, we feel that with all the deals we will be passing out at the show it will be hard to stay away from our booth.

Attracting over 140,000 visitors each year the Farm Science Review showcases exhibitors who feature their products and services in the agricultural industry. While there stop in to hear one of the many talks going on regarding the latest in agricultural advancements that can always be found at this show.
