Recently the company Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. stopped into the Perrysburg, OH location to get an installation for a new stepdeck rolling tarp system. Although the usual turnaround time can be between 6-8 days depending on accessories, Gulfstream had a critical deadline to be met. With this in mind, our team jumped into action to push this work through so Gulfstream could meet its critical timeline.
TARPSTOP JUMPS IN!
One of our sales team members, Kent Keck worked diligently with both ER Trailers and coordinated with our fabrication team to get the stepdeck system installed in just four days. He further communicated with Matt from Gulfstream on his off time to let him know when the trailer was finally picked up and on the road.
"I wanted to reach out and say thank you to Tarp Stop and take a moment to recognize Kent Keck's professionalism, commitment, and follow-through pertaining to a tarp system your folks just installed on our new trailer... The trailer arrived yesterday, we loaded it, and it is on its way to make its first stop on schedule. Thank you to you're and your team for their hard work. I choose Tarpstop for this reason because your team exceeded my expectations at every turn."
- Matt Lewis - Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.
RUNNING THROUGH WALLS!
At one of our most recent 'Fun Friday's' this stellar thank-you was read aloud to the cheers of our employee's. It was this mentality that embodied much of what we believe here at Tarpstop. The 'Running through Walls' motto is at the core of how we approach every customer and job here and why we continue to act this way for all our customers.

The Brake Safety Week is scheduled for the upcoming September 15th through the 21st. Roadside safety inspections will be conducted on commercial vehicles throughout North America. Any Vehicles that have critical brake violations or inspection violations will be restricted from traveling until they are corrected. It is important to make sure to have all inspections done before traveling so it will be easier to travel during these times. All commercial vehicles that pass without any critical vehicle inspection item violations will receive a CVSA decal indicating that they passed inspection.
During this year’s Brake Safety Week, inspectors will be paying special attention to brake hoses/tubing. While checking these brake system components is always part of the North American Standard Inspection Program, CVSA is highlighting brake hoses/tubing as a reminder of their importance to vehicle mechanical fitness and safety.
In addition to inspections and enforcement, outreach and awareness efforts by law enforcement agencies to educate drivers, motor carriers, mechanics, owner-operators and others on the importance of proper brake maintenance, operation and performance are integral to the success of this safety initiative.
Brake Safety Week is part of the Operation Airbrake Program, sponsored by CVSA in partnership with the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Recently one of our employee's took part in the St. Jude Warrior Dash fundraiser to raise money for the St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center, which opened in December of 2015. Proton therapy is the most advanced form of radiation technology available to patients because it allows doctors to precisely target cancerous cells with high doses of radiation while sparing nearby healthy cells and vital organs located beyond the tumor. The St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center is the first Proton Therapy Center in the world dedicated solely to children, designed specifically to meet the needs of young patients.
When Brian Hughes, our Fleet Specialist heard about this cause, he jumped at the chance to help. He took part in a 3.2 mile course and faced obstacles like mud mounds, water slide's, mud pits, plank walls and more. Brian in particular raised $1,500 dollars for the cause and ran a spectacular time. Brian loved doing something like this and had a great time as well. Great job Brian!
